My client is a research-driven strategy/market research agency that inspires its clients to build innovative and impactful experiences for consumers. There is significant untapped market potential for a self-starter who can work with us to further grow their practice and the organization.

My client is seeking to further grow and expand by bringing on a leader who can build and grow a practice area. In particular we are seeking to grow and expand the following verticals: Travel & Hospitality, Fashion, Technology, Digital Gaming, and Retail. The VP/SVP or Head of Practice is a key leadership position for an experienced, strategic thinker who is passionate about leading their practice area, sales, marketing and research. As you know, selling strategic research is not a “sales” position but a consultative role. Therefore, the right candidate is someone experienced who can develop new accounts by working closely with clients as their trusted adviser.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a background overseeing qualitative and quantitative research projects on topics associated with branding, communications and innovation for Travel and Hospitality, technology, youth, digital gaming, or retail clients
  • Have a proven record of selling between $1M - $2m of strategic research services per year with new accounts and additional revenue from existing accounts as the most senior consultant leading the relationship.
  • Is a thought leader with a strong reputation in their field.
  • Have the desire and willingness to work as part of a team and the skills necessary to lead

Leaders with this level of experience typically play other leadership roles within the organization. As a growing organization we are open to tailoring a role around this leader’s strengths and interests.
